Who we are
Lock My Devices (package com.next_quantum_system.lock) is developed by QuanSystem (Quantum System), Ankara, Türkiye. For any privacy question contact [email protected].
Data we process
User code: the code you type on the User Code screen. It groups your devices so a lock command reaches all of them.
Device registration data: Firebase Cloud Messaging token, Android ID, device brand, manufacturer, model and name, Android version and build ID, app version and build number, app install time, last open time and open count, whether notifications are enabled, and the IP address the device registered from. These are used only to deliver lock commands and to keep the service working.
We do not collect your name, e-mail, phone number, location, contacts, photos, messages or browsing activity.
Biometric data
The app uses Android’s BiometricPrompt (USE_BIOMETRIC). Fingerprint and face verification is performed by the Android system. No biometric data is collected, stored or transmitted by the app.
Permissions and why they are needed
Device administrator (force-lock only): to lock the screen on command or schedule. SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM and WAKE_LOCK: to lock at the exact time you choose. RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to restore your schedule after a restart. POST_NOTIFICATIONS and USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: to show lock-related alerts. INTERNET: to register the device and receive lock commands.
The website lock page
When you use the lock page, the code you type is sent over HTTPS to our server only to find your devices and send the lock command. The website does not store the code or use cookies for it. For security and abuse prevention, our server logs the IP address, approximate country, browser or app information (User-Agent), time and result of every request from the app and the website. The user code is never written to these logs in plain text; only an irreversible hash is kept. These logs are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Third-party services
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers lock commands and Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous usage and crash statistics. These services are operated by Google under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Retention and deletion
Device records are kept while the app is in use. Records whose push token becomes invalid are deactivated. You can ask us to delete all records for your user code at any time — see the data deletion page.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data. Parents may install it on a child’s device to schedule screen locks.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or KVKK) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will also be announced in the app.
